Brand new report: Consent management platforms are ordered less often than other personal privacy tools

With the enormous new requirements for user permission in the General Data Privacy Legislation ( GDPR ) and the new California privacy law , you’ d think the lately emerged permission management platforms might have landed in every sizable company’ s i9000 toolbox.

Not so, states “ How Personal privacy Tech Is Bought and Used ” (free, registration required), a new report on the adoption associated with privacy technologies from data personal privacy management firm TrustArc and the Global Association of Privacy Professionals.

It found that permission management platforms — which have surfaced to handle the capture, management plus transfer of user consent for private data use — were minimal adopted tech among 10 types of privacy tech.
