Cellular marketer Leanplum buys Connecto’s speaking marketing

Mobile marketing firm Leanplum is all about creating relationships between manufacturers and their customers, using in-app messaging, push notifications, email marketing plus web push notifications.

This week, the San Francisco-based company added another capability for enhancing those relationships, announcing that it offers acquired AI-powered conversational marketing company Connecto .

Based in Getaway, Connecto has developed a chatbot contractor for such platforms as Fb Messenger and Viber. Its purpose, the company says on its internet site, is to support 24/7, cost-efficient customer support for frequently asked questions, marketing and re-engagement, with increased complicated queries bounced to people.
