Fb purges 800 political spam Web pages, accounts from its platform

In its latest salvo towards misleading political spam accounts, Fb announced Thursday that it had eliminated 559 Pages and 251 balances from its platform for creating inauthentic exercise motivated by profit.

Facebook removed Pages, groups plus accounts that were found to become created solely to stir upward political debate from the U. T., Middle East, Russia and the Oughout. K.

Nathaniel Gleicher, Facebook head of cybersecurity plan, and product manager Oscar Rodriguez said money was the primary driving force for these accounts.
