Google’ s political ad transparency survey & library offers more responsibility around election ads

Google is usually building more transparency into the politics ads and advertisers running strategies on its ad networks. Right after updating its political ad procedures in May — enforcing new ID requirements for anybody purchasing political ads — the company is now sharing the first transparency report focusing exclusively on political ads, as well as a politics ad library.

Search engines first announced it would be releasing the public political ad transparency document and library of political advertisements that have been verified three months ago, plus made all of them available Wednesday.
