Virtually every blockchain-based startup has plans to offer prize tokens to customers in exchange for his or her loyalty.
To date, these plans are largely in the white-colored paper or beta phase. However, a Morristown, New Jersey-based new venture named Lovely has been deploying this particular vision since January. The company states it is the “ first tokenized dedication platform to actually hit the market” in support of brands.
Lovely allows brands to promote their items by granting reward tokens — appropriately called Sugar — in order to fans, in exchange for liking, revealing, watching a video, posting an opinion or otherwise engaging with the brand. The particular brand sets the value in bucks for each action, but the fans note that value as Sugar tokens.
Currently, founder and TOP DOG Tom Mizzone told me, Sweet provides about 50, 000 fans signed up on the platform and expects about a hundred and fifty, 000 by year’ s finish. A couple of dozen brands are on system, including the band Black Eyed Peas and performer Jorge Blanco. Fairly sweet says another 30 brands are onboarding, and over 80 have been in the pipeline.
