That history hum you may soon hear is those voice-controlled devices responding to their particular human masters, as voice conversation becomes an even more commonplace way of controlling devices.

And Adobe, which has added support in its Marketing and advertising Cloud for such new technology as VR and Over-the-Top TV , has boosted its bet on tone of voice by launching this week the purchase of Sayspring, Inc. Deal terms are not made public.

The year-old startup, based in New York City, offers a free-of-charge and coding-free tool for creating tone of voice interfaces and applications for Amazon . com Alexa and Google Assistant.
