Snapchat begins rolling out redesign upon iOS that reverses changes released last year

Snapchat provides started rolling out design modifications for iOS devices that it introduced during its first quarter earnings report .

Snapchat says most of iOS users will now have their Photos and Chats in chronological purchase again, with friends Stories back again on the right side of the application. The app also has added another Subscriptions feed for Stories through publishers and creators users stick to. (Content from publishers and makers users are not subscribed to will certainly display outside of the Subscriptions feed. )

The company does not have a schedule for when its redesign initiatives will be released on Android gadgets. Spiegel commented on Snapchat’ t Android performance during the earnings contact, saying it was, “ … nevertheless a weakness” for the company, yet that they were making significant improvement.

“ Given the amount of changes we made with the particular redesign, a number of performance regressions led to a disproportionately negative impact amongst Android users, ” said Spiegel.
